e-Sword X: Bible Study Extreme App Reviews

It’s ok. I am not able to get the different parellel or bible version comparion of the scriptures. I just got the KJV and the KJV+ I saw the help video for instructions did all the guy said but its still not working for me.

This is the best Bible program I have found. I have it installed on all my electronic stuff, phone, iPad and PC. Its very easy to use and packed with great features.

With so many options and so many different types of people who use Bible Software it is hard to determine what makes a great software package. e-sword’s value is in its simplicity and its catalog of free resources. However it does not have much to offer beyond simple reading and searching of texts. Its well worth the small price, but you get what you pay for in this case. If you find it lacking you are probably going to need to look into Olive Tree, Accordance, or Logos.

I have been using e-sword for about 5 yrs on my PC and truly enjoyed it. I gave a tithe to the ministry back when I first downloaded the program and they sent me a disc packed full of more tools, maps and etc. I just currently bought me a IMac for my personal business and e-sword was one of the first things I downloaded on it. I use this great ministry tool to conduct my bible study that I have in my home. I recommend it to all my friends and co-workers.

E-Sword is an excellent resource for in-depth Bible study. Word search, complete Bible verse search and listing, dictionary resources, Strong’s Concordance reference, and access to numerous translations are indeed a plus! Cross-references and Bible book overviews are just a few of the added conveniences that make e-Sword X: Bible Study Extreme a most valuable Bible study tool.

I’e used Rick’s software on PC for more than 12 years. On the PC side are multiple modules prouiced by users that expand e-Sword into bible study realms beyond what’s avalable on Rick’s website. For whatever reason, however, the PC software has had no update since 7/31/14. Perhaps Rich has dropped that format. No matter, It’s e-Sword, and it rocks, but not on my Mac, where it freezes on the welcome screen, is awkward to use and is incapable of accepting any of the useful user-created modules from my PC version. Perhaps with the slow adoption of e-Sword on the Mac platform e-Sword will gain more users and thus more of the kids of resources and modules I describe, but right now, the software has troubles. I love e-Sword, and Rick is an ace programmer, so with time I’m betting he’ll get it to where it is on PC.

AS For me, Classic Liberal Reading is Very Important. So, especially, Greek & Hebrew Dictionary is my KEY POINT in this App!!! If anyone who want study Greek & Hebrew BiBle, I think This App Is Must!!! Mr. Meyers, I honestly urge you that If my Review is raise this App purchase, PLEASE ADD LATIN BIBLE with dictionary just as Greek & Hebrew in LATER Update!!! I really hope this App UPGRADE with Latin version. Latin Literature is essential WESTERN CIVILI Do you agree with my idea that KJV, GREEK, HEBREW, and Finally LATIN. I’m a lay person…but I study and read daily. I do preach from time to time and I am very hungry for more knowledge in the Word. I like that there are several commentaries at my disposal. I also like the word studies available as well. This app allows me to see the original language, the grammar of the original, strong’s numbering as well as others, and many translations. Overall, I am very happy with this app…especially considering the cost. I may exceed it’s capabilities at some point, but for now it is more than enough. It has been a great addition to my life and my walk
